Oleg Stepanovich Shtefanko was born on September 7, 1959. The birthplace of the actor is the Ukrainian city of Torez in the Donetsk region. In Oleg's family there is not a single person whose fate would be connected with acting. Oleg himself wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become a miner. However, the actor's mother was against this profession, she wanted a better, safe life for her son.
During his school years, the young man was no different from his peers. He attended school amateur circles, went to pioneer camps. In high school, he began to engage in kickboxing and achieved significant success in this field. After the family council, Oleg decided to go to Moscow to enter the theater.
