Natalya Varley is a Soviet and Russian actress, the famous "beauty, Komsomol member, athlete", who received this nickname after filming in the cult comedy "Prisoner of the Caucasus". During her life, she managed to star in dozens of films, as well as be married three times.
Biography and creativity
Natalia Varley was born in 1947 in the Romanian city of Constanta, where at that time her father, a sea captain, was in the service. Later he was sent to Murmansk, where the future actress spent her childhood. She fell in love with creativity early, carried away by drawing and singing, began attending a music school. Natalia also studied at the children's acrobatic studio, cherishing the dream of a career as a circus artist. She managed to realize her plans: later Varley was educated at the State School of Circus and Variety Arts and worked as a balancing act in a circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.
Natalia's partner in the circus arena was the famous clown Leonid Yengibarov. It was he who brought her to the set, introducing her to his friend, director Georgy Yungvald-Khilkevich. Varley agreed to star in his film "The Rainbow Formula", which still did not soon reach the movie screens. Only in 1988 was the stamp of state censorship removed from it. Natalia really liked being an actress, and she immediately entered the Shchukin Theater School.
During her studies, Natalia Varley was contacted by the assistant of the famous director Leonid Gaidai. He was just looking for a young actress for the main role in his new comedy "Prisoner of the Caucasus, or Shurik's New Adventures." For the first time Natalya Varley got married at the age of 20. She tied the knot with director Nikolai Burlyaev. Almost all the environment of the actress discouraged her from this union, referring to the difference in characters. Soon Natalia was convinced of this personally and hastened to part with her husband. Natalya Varley entered into her second marriage in 1971 with fellow student Vladimir Tikhonov, the son of actors Vyacheslav Tikhonov and Nonna Mordyukova. They had a son, Vasily. Unfortunately, this union also turned out to be unsuccessful: Vladimir abused alcohol, and disputes often arose in the family. After another of them, the couple divorced.
In the mid-80s, the actress began an affair with Ulmas Alikhodjaev, an actor of Uzbek origin. They met on the set of the film "Roads of Fire", after which they began to meet. The relationship did not last long, although soon Natalia gave birth to her second son, Alexander. She did not disclose to the public the name of her father, but, apparently, it is Ulmas Alikhodzhaev.
Natalia Varley's next marriage turned out to be short again. Her husband was a man named Vladimir, who was involved in the construction business. Gradually, their feelings for each other cooled, and the couple decided to divorce.

In 2017, Natalya Varley celebrated her 70th birthday. In honor of this event, she shared a frank interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. In it, the actress admitted that she had another romantic relationship with the singer Alexei Zardinov. Together they even sang the author's song "Let's forgive each other."
Today Natalya Varley lives with her beloved cats. Some time ago, the number of pets in her house exceeded a dozen, and the actress gave each of them interesting names: Salary, Scholarship, Pension and others. She even wrote her own book about caring for these furry animals. Natalia also maintains warm relations with already adult sons who have chosen a directorial career for themselves.
