Anime is a drawing style that was invented in Japan. This word began to denote the cartoons themselves. It will be difficult for a novice artist to draw anime, but it will be easier to portray the characters in stages.

Step 1
Determine what kind of character you want to draw. This is necessary in order to correctly depict the character from an anatomical point of view. The height of a young man is usually equal to the height of 8 heads. The body of a little girl is usually smaller than the head.
Step 2
Draw two horizontal (shoulders and pelvis) and one vertical (spine) lines. From the shoulders and pelvis, draw two segments down and two up, respectively, which will connect in the middle of the spine. The resulting triangles are a blank for the body.
Step 3
Draw a circle (head) above the shoulders. Depending on what gender and age your character is, draw the chin, face and hair. You need to know that the correct distance between the eyes is one eye. The nose of an anime character is easiest to depict with a straight vertical line, the end of which is bent upward.
Step 4
Draw two straight lines (arms) from the shoulder joints. Each of them has two ovals. The limbs will be drawn correctly if the elbow is at the level of the character's abdomen. If you are building a physically tough hero, draw some musculature.
Step 5
Draw two lines (legs) from the pelvis. Draw the ovals as in the previous step. The limbs must be 4 times the length of the character's head. The remark about arm musculature applies to the legs as well.
Step 6
Using smooth lines, connect two triangles, ovals and the torso with the head. Erase the reference lines. Remember, if you are drawing a girl, the chest is not depicted in the form of two balls, but ovals, which are extended downward. Otherwise, this part of the character will look implausible.
Step 7
Add details. Think about the time and conditions in which the character lives. This will directly affect what kind of clothing you want to portray. If he is in the Arctic, then it would be logical to draw a warm jacket with a hood, pants and shoes. If the character was born in 3045, then the clothes must be appropriate.
