The main problem when learning a new song can be a lack of skills in playing the guitar, piano or other instrument used as accompaniment, but this can be easily corrected with repeated practice and repetition.

Step 1
Study the song in detail before using the instrument. Listen to or read it several times so that it fits well in your head, and so that during the study of the technique of the game and memorization, you are not distracted by ignorance of the text or motive.
Step 2
To memorize words, it is better to write them down on a piece of paper separately from notes and chords. Memorize the text as you would memorize a poem, but slightly humming it. The lyrics are learned quite easily if you listen to her audio recording more than ten times during the day and try to speak or sing to yourself. If there is no entry, just repeat the words, trying to peep at the sheet as little as possible.
Step 3
The strategy for memorizing music will depend on whether you have chosen as an object - a song with chords or just a solo to a song. If you are going to learn chords, first of all check your knowledge of their notation and their skills in staging. Practice unfamiliar new chords carefully. Then check the skills of playing the transitions from chord to chord. Sometimes it happens that a musician picks up individual chords with ease, and a quick change from one to another can cause difficulty.
Step 4
After the difficult transitions are worked out, connect the play of the right hand. This sequence applies to both guitar song learning and piano playing. Start at a slow pace, do not accelerate until your hands remember the blind movement. Only after this, increase the speed from time to time to the desired one.
Step 5
When practicing a solo, break it up into several sections. It is much easier to learn a song in parts, which, after mastering, simply put together.
Step 6
To quickly learn a song, imitate the original performance. That is, include audio or video of the song and, in parallel, try to play and sing what you have learned before or are just trying to remember.
