A doll is a children's toy created by hundreds of adults. Perhaps the doll is one of the most interesting drawing objects and a good way to develop your drawing skills. This toy is both like a living and obviously dead creature, capable of making many people begin to doubt what it really is. Step 1
Draw the first sketches of the doll's body. At this stage, you determine the size of the doll, its closeness to the human image, as well as its pose. Please note that the most expressive pictures are obtained when the doll looks at you from a sheet of paper, however, if you have a number of problems with the image of eyes and other facial features, it is better to turn your head to the side or cover your face with hair.
Step 2
Choose clothes and accessories. Like any girl, the doll is an avid fashionista. And even if you are drawing a male doll, she will never be devoid of a sense of style. Step 3
Start drawing the little things. The easiest way is if you draw on the computer or with a pencil. Start drawing embroidery on the dress, ruffles on the collars and other little things on the clothes. Also, don't forget about earrings, rings, beads, and so on.
Step 4
Humanize your doll. This is the most difficult stage. Your task is to draw the doll's arms, legs and face. The fingers and toes can be left toy-like to show that it is a doll after all. But with a face, you have the right to experiment as you see fit.
Step 5
Make the lips small, draw small decorative eyebrows, and make the eyes look like those of a person. You will be surprised at the effect you get, or vice versa, try something new that you have not yet seen in pictures and on the Internet.
Step 6
Don't forget about the doll's skin tone. With its help, you can either further emphasize its human appearance, or vice versa, making it monochromatic, emphasize that this is just a toy.
