Andrey Norkin is a well-known TV and radio journalist, winner of the TEFI Prize, most of whose career is associated with working on the NTV channel. For more than twenty years he has been married to his former colleague Yulia Norkina and has four children.

The future journalist was born in 1968 in Moscow. During his school years, he attended a variety of sections and circles, ranging from acting and ending with sports. It was the acting art that attracted him to the greatest extent. After receiving a certificate and serving in the army, Andrei Norkin began working as an announcer at the Luzhniki stadium. In 1992 he got a job at Radio 101, starting to conduct news programs. Soon the young man was offered the position of presenter on the NTV channel, where he took over the morning and afternoon news broadcasts, as well as the Hero of the Day program.
Cooperation with the TV channel continued until 2001. During this period, a new chapter began in the history of NTV. The channel lost its former independence and was taken under state control. Some employees, including Andrey Norkin, did not accept the innovations and left the channel. The journalist moved to Alexey Venediktov's new television company Echo-TV, becoming editor-in-chief. In addition, he headed the Moscow office of the international television company RTVi. Norkin began to host the author's show "Now in Russia", for which in 2006 he became a laureate of the "TEFI-2006" award.
In 2008, Norkin switched to Channel Five, becoming the artistic director and host of the Morning on the Fifth program. Gradually, he relinquished responsibility for project management, preferring to work with the new Kommersant FM radio station. In 2011, Andrey completely switched to working on radio. In addition to the projects of the publishing house "Kommersant", he headed several programs at the stations "Govorit Moskvy" and "Echo Moskvy". As you know, Andrei Norkin never received a professional journalistic education, although at one time he tried to enter Moscow State University.
In 2016, the journalist decides to return to the NTV channel, releasing on it the projects "Norkin's List", "Anatomy of the Day" and "Meeting Place". In his programs, which have a high viewer rating, Norkin touches on topical political and social issues. He also holds meetings with famous politicians and sociologists, conducting discussions with them. However, the journalist is periodically criticized for the inaccuracy of some facts and the admission of unprofessional statements.

For the first time, Andrei Norkin got married in 1985, but he quickly broke up. The journalist prefers not to talk about those relationships. Already in 1992 he met a colleague on the radio station "Radio 101" Yulia Rybakova, who came to get a job in the company. Like Andrei, Julia was divorced, but already had a child from her first marriage - a son, Alexander, who was born in 1986.
Before meeting with the increasingly popular journalist, Yulia Rybakova led an unremarkable life, so there is no information about that period. However, the origin of the girl was of little interest to Andrei: he realized that he had fallen in love and began to look after his passion. A few months later, the lovers got married, and the wife took her husband's surname.
In the future, the couple worked together at various radio stations, including Echo of Moscow. But as offspring appeared in the family, Julia could no longer devote enough time to work. In 2004, she decided to devote herself entirely to raising children and becoming a housewife. Her husband fully supported her in this: by that time, Andrei Norkin had already built a career sufficient to provide for his wife and children.

Immediately after marriage to Yulia Rybakova, the journalist adopted her child from a previous relationship. And in 1994 they already had a joint daughter, Alexander. The couple really wanted to devote their lives to helping children in need, so in 2002 they decided to take a 7-month-old boy Artyom from the orphanage. Two years later, they learned that Artyom's biological mother abandoned the child again, and immediately decided to adopt him too. So another boy appeared in the family, who was named Alexei.
The Norkin family is very fond of animals: they have several cats and dogs. It is known that the couple acquired a spacious country house, in which the entire friendly family was accommodated. As the children grow up, Yulia Norkina tries more and more to help her husband with work: due to his age, he often needs support. And literally at the beginning of April 2019, Andrei felt bad right during the live broadcast of the "Meeting Place" program. The presenter was hospitalized. Now his well-being is no longer threatened, but it is not yet known whether Andrei Norkin will be able to return to work on television.
