Marriage history

Elena Vasilievna Malysheva (from birth - Shabunina) was born in 1961 in a family of medical workers. Her mother was a pediatrician, and her father was the chief physician of the hospital. Despite the difficult profession, parents made every effort to make their children's childhood happy. Surprisingly, Elena Vasilievna herself, her twin brother Alexei and her older sister Marina unanimously inherited the parenting profession. In 1984, Malysheva graduated from the Kemerovo Medical University and went to Moscow to study at the graduate school of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

As for personal life, parents raised their daughters in severity, not allowing them to dye or curl their hair once again. From any walks or dates, Elena was expected to go home no later than 9 pm. Therefore, she grew up modest and responsible. In those days, girls mainly got married in their student years, and the age over 25 was already considered the time of old maidens. Malysheva admitted that the question of arranging her personal life worried her a little, but somewhere in the depths of her soul there was confidence in an early meeting with her future husband. And this acquaintance was not long in coming.

In February 1986, Igor Yurievich Malyshev, a student of the Tomsk Medical Institute, came to graduate school in Moscow. One of the first people he met there was his future wife. It's funny that before the trip, friends just advised Igor to take a closer look at the Academy to a young graduate student named Shabunina. And Malyshev, not yet knowing who was in front of him, at first sight fell in love with his future wife.

He was not even frightened by Mayakovsky's poems, which Elena loved to recite on dates, which literally shocked her gentlemen. Igor managed to make a good impression even on the strict father of the bride, although his predecessor did not pass this “casting”. By the way, Malysheva herself does not believe in love at first sight, and in the appearance of feelings, the most important thing is communication and recognition of each other.

The future spouses met for about six months. Igor completely charmed Elena's parents. However, Malysheva did not hear the classic marriage proposal in his performance. After one of the dates, saying goodbye at the subway car, the young man simply invited her to become the mother of his sons. Elena left, not having time to give an answer, and she understood her boyfriend's words literally. All night she thought about the prospects of raising other people's children, whom Igor was hiding from her, and in the morning she decided that she still wanted to become his wife. True, the groom quickly dispelled these delusions. Their wedding took place in September 1986.

Family life and parenting

The family life of the Malyshevs did not bypass their trials. For the first time, the couple became parents on March 16, 1988, when their son Yuri was born. Two years later, in December 1990, his younger brother Vasily was born. Not having their own home in Moscow, the young couple was forced to huddle in the hostel of the Mining Institute, and even then illegally. Shortly before the birth of her first child, Elena Vasilievna managed to defend her Ph. D. thesis. When Yuri was little, she worked as a doctor in the emergency department, went on night shifts.

The Malyshevs had to disperse to different cities when, at the age of 9 months, their second son Vasily fell ill. The child needed an operation, and after that, conditions for recovery and good care were required. In Moscow, without housing and relatives nearby, this task became much more difficult. Therefore, Elena and her children returned to their parents in Kemerovo. In her hometown in 1992, she made her television debut as the host of the "Recipe" program.

When the time came to return to Moscow, Malysheva was a little sorry to part with an interesting new job. But in the capital, in parallel with medical activities, Elena Vasilievna began to participate in various television projects. Of course, it was difficult for her to combine family and work. Sometimes I had to spend at midnight at night cuts. The presenter admitted that, deep in her soul, she was constantly waiting for an ultimatum from her husband demanding to leave television. Oddly enough, Igor Yuryevich, on the contrary, acted as her main motivator. He said: “This is life. Fight! You will succeed. Years later, Malysheva is convinced that she owes her successful career to her husband.

The spouses tried to bring up their children in severity, respect for other people's work and money. Elena herself and her brother and sister were once sent by their parents to work in adolescence as hospital attendants. Malysheva did the same with her sons, considering this experience as a good school of life.

The Malyshev family now

Elena Vasilievna is convinced that for a child it is impossible to save on only one thing - a good quality education. Therefore, both of her sons studied in America. Yuri is a doctor by profession, and Vasily wanted to become a lawyer, breaking the family tradition. Now the first-born Malysheva is working with her as a creative producer of the program "Life is great!" In the summer of 2014, he married a girl named Karina, and in the winter of 2015 they had a son, Igor Yuryevich Malyshev, the full namesake of his grandfather.

Elena Vasilievna adores her grandson, however, like her husband. She admits that she tries not to interfere with his upbringing, always leaving the last word for young parents. She had an excellent relationship with her daughter-in-law, Karina immediately conquered the TV presenter with her modesty, responsibility, and hard work.

Over the years, Malysheva's husband has achieved no less success in his profession than his wife on television. He is a renowned scientist and specialist in the field of molecular biology, doctor of medical sciences, professor at the Evdokimov Moscow University of Medicine and Dentistry.

Despite 30 years of family experience, Elena Vasilievna admits that she and her husband are very different. Her activity balances the calm nature of her husband. He enjoys spending time in a science lab more than attending social events with his wife. Therefore, they rarely get out somewhere together. But Malysheva has long been accustomed to this way of life. She considers herself a very happy woman who has successfully combined her career and family. And in this the main merit belongs to her beloved husband.
