Learning to break dance is not easy, especially when it comes to stunts performed on the ground. In order to dance beautifully, you need to learn how to feel your own body well, be able to use it and, of course, regularly train for beautiful, competent and safe execution of some movements. The movement of the lower break dance - the helix - looks impressive.

Instructions

Step 1

The dancer, performing the helix, quickly rotates on his back and shoulder blades, spinning the body with the movements of straightened legs. Learning to do this trick is not as difficult as it sounds.

Step 2

First and foremost, learn how to do the helix in the correct position - the main emphasis in this movement should be on the shoulders and shoulder blades, and the rest of the back is not subjected to much stress. Spread your straight legs wide apart and make powerful swings, spinning your body in a circle.

Step 3

Before exercising, be sure to warm up and warm up your muscles to avoid injuries and sprains. Warm up your back, hands, legs, and arms, and then start exercising. The starting position from which you need to enter the helix is a hand resting on the floor. Place your elbow on your stomach.

Step 4

Learn to stay in this position, so that you can go back after each twist. When entering the helix, extend your legs to the sides as wide as possible in order to cover the largest radius of the circle during swings. Swing tense and straightened legs, rotating the body in a circle.

Step 5

Make smooth and slow turns at first, and then try to accelerate, making the swings powerful and sharp. Learn to smooth transitions from hand to shoulder, and from shoulder to shoulder blades. From the shoulder blades, during this movement, you must move to the other shoulder and at the same time swing with straight legs and wide-set legs in the air.

Step 6

When performing a golk, do not lower your whole back to the floor, try to maintain a position on your shoulder blades so that later you can comfortably roll over and lean on your hand to go to the next turn.
