Oriental dance can be performed not only by adults, but also by children. But the ability to dance correctly is far from everything: a young dancer should also have a beautiful oriental costume. And it is not at all necessary to buy it, because a beautiful suit can be sewn with your own hands.

Instructions
Step 1
Decide for what purpose you need a suit: in other words, whether it will be training or for performance. It is better to sew a suit for training from a durable material that is pleasant to the body, using a minimum amount of jewelry. Jewelry falls off after the first wash, therefore, by minimizing their number, you will keep the beautiful appearance of your tracksuit for longer. The performance costume features rich material and lots of decoration. Ideally, it is better to sew two suits: training and performance.
Step 2
For harem pants, take measurements: hip girth, leg length, ankle girth, and seat height. To the desired length of the trousers, add 10 centimeters for the overlap, 5 centimeters for the hem and another 5 for the belt. The height of the seat is determined as follows: put the girl on a chair and measure the distance from the waist to the surface of the chair on which the child is sitting. Then calculate the width of the leg: multiply the girth of the thigh by the incremental factor of the leg width (as a rule, take 0.75). Then calculate the width of the seat: divide the hip girth by four.
Step 3
Based on the measurements and calculations made, build a pattern. Cut out its elements and transfer them to the fabric with chalk. Cut out the cut pieces and sew them by inserting elastic at the waist and at the ankle.
Step 4
Making a bodice is quite simple: build a pattern on the base of the shirt, adjusting the length. Transfer the drawing to the fabric, giving a seam allowance, cut out the resulting elements and sew them.
Step 5
Cut out a square, transfer it to the size of the fabric, and overlap all the edges. The chador is ready.
