Angels are beautiful fantastic creatures with what a person dreams of all his life - a pair of wings. But for a person who has never attended art school, it is difficult to translate their ideas about these characters on paper. However, the ability to realize your creative ideas is one of the paths to happiness, and the painted angel can be found in a wide range of applications, from Japanese comics to Easter cards.

Step 1
Draw an oval letter "M" and below it a Latin "V" so that their tips meet. As a result, you should have two wing blanks, similar in shape to two tears.
Step 2
Take pictures of birds. It is advisable that they depict birds in flight, and carefully examine their wings. As you can see, they consist of feathers of different shapes and sizes: the largest feathers are on top and on the outside, and small ones on the inside. Divide the wings into several parts in your drawing and mark where and what feathers your angel will have.
Step 3
If you want to make the wings more graceful, make an elongated semicircle on the inside of the wings and erase it. Now you can start drawing the feathers. At the end of the work, make a shadow on some of the feathers - this will make the wings seem more voluminous.
Step 4
If you are drawing a classic angel, you can stop there. However, if your angel is a fantasy character, his wings can be adorned with ribbons, flowering twigs, or gems.
