Instructions

Step 1

For a ghost trick, prepare a handkerchief with a wide enough folded edge. Insert a small piece of wire hanger prepared in advance into this edge. The length of the wire should be no more than 7 cm.

Step 2

Insert a piece into one corner of the edge of the scarf and sew it, and then fold the scarf - next time you will need it only during the show of the trick. Prepare a simple metal spoon for display.

Step 3

In front of the audience, remove the scarf from the pocket and spread it in front of you so that the corner with the wire sewn into it is directed towards the viewer. The trick will work even if the audience is very close to you. Fold the handkerchief from the corner with the wire so that you have a pocket, closed from the side of the viewer and open from your side.

Step 4

With your right hand, “grab” the air, pretending that you have caught something invisible, and then lift the corners of the previously folded handkerchief and place the “invisible ghost” caught in the air in it. Set the wire inside the scarf vertically and remove your hand from the scarf.

Step 5

Move away from the table to enhance the focal effect - the wire will support the scarf from the inside, and the audience will have the impression that there really is something under the scarf. Prove to the audience that you've caught a ghost - tap the top of the handkerchief with a metal spoon to make a sound.

Step 6

Then shake the handkerchief and place it on the table - the wire should lie horizontally. Announce that you have released a ghost.

Step 7

Another simple trick requires a small cardboard box with a square base and an elongated rectangular body. Such a box can be found in medicine packages, or you can fold it out of cardboard yourself. A dice should fit freely in the box.

Step 8

On one side of the box, cut a square hole exactly in the middle, and place the box on the table with the hole down. To show the audience the box, pinch the hole with your finger.

Step 9

Place a dice in the box so that the audience can see that there were a certain number of dots at the top. Push the cube inside the box with a pencil so that it is on the opposite hole - viewers will see a different number.
