Chess is a world-famous game that can be called not only a game, but also a professional intellectual sport. Winning a chess game directly depends on your ability to plan your actions, think logically and form a strategy for further moves. There are also recognized strategies in the chess world that, if you follow them, will increase your chances of winning.
Instructions
Step 1
One of these strategies is Sokolsky's opening, in which you start the game with move 1. b2-b4. Thanks to this move, you create pressure on the queenside by launching an attack on your opponent. Thus, on the queenside, you gain an advantage over the enemy, and then move on to play in the center of the field.
Step 2
Another winning strategy in chess is knight versus rook pawn. A rook pawn can be dangerous for a knight, especially if it is close to the edge of the board, but a knight can hold a rook pawn by touching any square that is in its path. This method of delaying the pawn only on the corner square does not work, but if your knight is on the corner square, you can use the king's help.
Step 3
If your knight is threatened by an enemy king, make a barrier against him with a knight fork - so that the king will spend a lot of time to get around you from the side.
Step 4
If the opponent's king is trapped in the corner of the board, you may well checkmate him with a knight.
Step 5
In addition, you can use spare tempos to win chess. In order for you to have them, use all the possibilities of acquiring them and spend the pace wisely, do not waste them. For example, in order to win, you can carry out a distracting attack with the king on the queenside using spare pawn moves.
Step 6
If the opponent has strong pawns, exchange one or more pawns in order to undermine the enemy's pawn chain. At the same time, try to protect your own checkpoint from the enemy king.
Step 7
If you have a power advantage in the game and your rook pawn is on the opposite side of the board, you are guaranteed to win the game.
