Step 1

Step 2
Remember that first you need to record a high-quality sound track for which you will create a video sequence. You cannot do the opposite. Next, you need to come up with a script for the clip. At the first stage, think over its style, the main effects used. Consider the capabilities of your existing hardware. So, if you need camera movement, you will additionally need a slider - a small rail along which the video camera moves. You can't shoot handheld anyway, so you'll definitely need a tripod. It will be very good if you have the opportunity to shoot with two cameras at once from different angles.
Step 3
Having worked out the general concept of the clip, write down the lyrics of the song on a sheet of paper in a column and put down its timekeeping per second. After that, focusing on timing, write down in seconds what should happen in the frame. As a result, you will receive an operator script.
Step 4
The clip is filmed in accordance with the steps of the script in small overlapping fragments, during editing on the computer, you will cut and join them. When recording excerpts, it is important that the performers "fall" into the sounding phonogram. The more accurate and detailed the scenario is, the easier it will be for you to shoot.
Step 5
Clip editing is carried out using special programs. There are a lot of suitable utilities, try Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12 (Full version) or Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. There is also a professional program for Mac OS - Final Cut Pro X. It is on the computer that you will collect the filmed excerpts into a single whole clip, add subtitles.
Step 6
The clip is ready, it remains to place it on the available sites, namely, on your own website, youtube.com, mycpace.com, vk.com resources. Send your creation to music channels, for example, A1 and O2, do not forget about MTV Russia.
