Step 1
To crochet a men's scarf, it is advisable to choose shades that are in good harmony with the prevailing color scheme in a man's clothes. The combination of black with dark green tones looks good, as well as the range, which includes black, brown, beige, white. It is advisable to use threads that are soft, pleasant to the touch. Mohair, alpaca, angora are great. Tricolor bouclé threads are wonderful because they simultaneously bring volume and harmonious combination of shades to the product.
Step 2
You also need to determine with what clothes it is supposed to be worn, since you can knit a men's scarf with a crochet of various widths. Consider a knitting pattern for a medium-width scarf. Make a chain of 30 stitches to form the base. Having knitted the first row, it will already be possible to have an idea of the appearance of the product, and therefore, until it is too late, it is permissible to correct your needlework.
Step 3
In addition, make two more air loops, then knit a double crochet at 30 loop. Continue knitting like this until the row ends. Turn the knitting over and before starting the next row, make two chain loops again, then knit the scarf with a double crochet.
Step 4
Next, you need to decide on the length of the product. Long scarves look good, and therefore you can knit it about 200 cm. This will allow you to freely wrap the scarf around your neck so that its edges hang down. Such a thing can be worn on a jacket or coat directly on top. If you intend to wear a scarf under your clothes, then there is no need for such a length, and therefore it is enough to knit it up to 120-130 cm.
Step 5
After the scarf itself is knitted, it is necessary to make tassels or fringes on it. To do this, take a book 15 cm wide, wrap it and cut the yarn on both sides. You will get the same blanks, which collect 6 pieces. Pull a hook into the edge of the scarf, grab the middle of the bundle and pull the ends into the loop formed, then tighten the brush. When finished with the brushes, spread the edge of the scarf on the table, comb with a wide-toothed comb and trim the edges of the brushes.
