Instructions
Step 1
Timeline the video you choose to voice over. Highlight and record the start and end times of the moments that you want to voice, if you want to insert an entirely new soundtrack - the moments in which you will need to insert effects or your voice.
Step 2
Record the text according to the timeline. Print it out and practice so that your voice matches exactly the moments when the original voice sounds on the screen.
Step 3
Turn on your microphone and open your audio editor. Create a new audio file, read the text into the microphone in accordance with the timeline, insert the sound effects that you wanted to insert when dubbing. Save this audio track.
Step 4
Start the video editor. Open the file you want to edit and wait for it to finish storyboarding.
Step 5
Delete the original audio track, then overlay the audio track you created and saved to the video. View it, if there is a mismatch between audio and video, remake the audio track in accordance with the shortcomings and then overlay it on the video.
Step 6
Save the resulting video to your computer.
