Nikolai's biography begins in 1949 in the Belarusian city of Vitebsk. Mom Galina Orlova and father were artists with many regalia, apparently because the choice of profession for Eremenko Jr. was obvious.

For the first time, little Kolya went on stage when he was not even five years old: he played too much and accidentally appeared in front of the audience while his parents were playing in the play. The audience burst into laughter - this child was so spontaneous.

At school, by the way, he had a nickname - "Artist", and he did not differ in his calm disposition, because his character was cocky. He did not like exact sciences, and my mother considered this a sign of a creative personality.

This was soon confirmed: in 1967, Nikolai Eremenko Jr. entered VGIK. It was not easy for him to study - he was ashamed of his provinciality, and because of this he behaved aggressively and unfriendly. He even drank and tried drugs, he was so uncomfortable in a young acting environment.

Nikolay Eremenko Jr. in cinema

A lucky chance changed everything: the teacher Sergei Gerasimov invited the young artist to star in the film "By the Lake". There Eremenko met Vasily Shukshin, who also played in the film. Nikolai coped with the role brilliantly.

Eremenko starred in several more films of Gerasimov, and then came his finest hour: shooting in the film "Red and Black" with the role of Julien Sorel. The play of the young actor made a stunning impression on the audience, and the role of a hero-lover was firmly entrenched in him.

However, his stubborn character helped Nikolai play a completely different role in the action movie Pirates of the 20th Century. The director did not want to take him for the role of the chief engineer of the ship, but the actor did not accept it. Good sports training and outrageous act of Eremenko helped: he did a somersault right on the set to show his strength, and he was taken on the role. In the film, he performed all the most difficult stunts himself.

"Pirates of the Twentieth Century" became a real sensation in Soviet cinema, and Nikolai Eremenko in 1981 was named the best actor of the year.

Eremenko himself was then surprised that the difficult game in "Red and Black" was not so appreciated by the audience, and the mechanic who "only shoots and swims" was so loved by the public. One way or another, since then, the popularity of the young actor has only grown.

Then there were no less popular films with the participation of Nikolai Eremenko: "The Tsar's Hunt" and "In Search of Captain Grant". There were many good films, including the director's Son for Father, where he played alongside his famous parent. In total, there are 52 tapes in his filmography.

Personal life of Nikolai Eremenko Jr

Many girls liked the handsome young man, but he chose Lyudmila Titova, who worked at VGIK. They got married and lived for 25 years, Lyudmila gave birth to his daughter Olga, in whom the actor doted.

The second woman of Nikolai Eremenko is the translator Tatyana Maslenikova, common-law wife. She also gave birth to his daughter, who was named Tatiana.

The third woman appeared in Nikolai's life during the filming of "Son for Father" - it was director's assistant Lyudmila. They planned to get married, but the unexpected death of Nikolai Eremenko ruined all plans.

He died on May 27, 2001, just a year after his father's death. The official cause of death was a stroke.
