Photography is mainly divided into two types - studio and landscape. All professional or semi-professional shots taken indoors, including at home, can be added to the studio photography category. But for a home photo shoot, you need to do a little preparatory work.
Instructions
Step 1
Think over the plot of the photo shoot. It does not have to correspond to the illustrations of the book about the meeting of two lovers, but the general idea should be in it.
Step 2
Based on the plot, decorate the room: either cover the interior with a plain (preferably white or black) cloth, or leave the necessary pieces of furniture and decorations in the frame. Anything that gets in the way, be sure to remove it.
Step 3
Expose the light. It should not hit the eyes of either the photographer or the models. The ideal location is diagonally, slightly above, on either side. Take a closer look at the shadows. They shouldn't be overly harsh. If you are using flash, prepare reflectors to soften shadows and prevent glare.
Step 4
Prepare costumes and makeup. They must be fully consistent with the plot. The role of a naive shepherdess cannot be played by a femme fatale in bright evening make-up and a revealing dress. Do not strive for a polished look, naturalness is more important here.
Step 5
There is a common misconception that a good shot can also be obtained using a camera built into a mobile phone. A professional simply does not want to work with a low-quality instrument, and an amateur simply cannot cope with the shortcomings of technology. It is better to spend a large amount on a professional apparatus than the strength and nerves to correct the shortcomings of cheap equipment.
Step 6
The frame itself is usually built using an empirical method: use the zoom, move the model as you like, change your own position, look for good angles. Lead the process, try different options.
