A blown photo is a photograph in which too much light has passed through the camera lens. As a result, it can turn out too bright (when the normal color of human skin turns to white) or washed out. In addition, some details in the photo may be obscured by the dark spot that accompanies the blown out photo.

Whether you're shooting outdoors or indoors, your shots can be blown out equally. If you decide to take a photo in a building, you need to be in such a position that the subject is not exposed to bright light (lamps, sconces, lanterns, etc.). Photographers believe that it is enough to simply use a flash to get good photos, since it is the flash that is able to coordinate the light balance and avoid the appearance of unknown shadows.
Step 3
If you decide to go for a walk and take a few pictures, it will be useful to look for a place for a photo shoot in the shade to get a high quality photo. If you are unable to take a picture in the shade, use the flash. Moreover, photographers believe that the best pictures are taken in cloudy (but not rainy) weather, because this is when the light balance is maintained even in nature.

In the event that your pictures are overexposed, you can try to fix them. For example, you can send photos to the nearest print shop, where specialists will restore them as soon as possible. Of course, this procedure is not free, and you need to remember this before going to the salon.
Step 5
You can correct the photos on your own. Many modern printers have a special function for correcting the image before printing. On some of them, you can not only edit the balance of brightness and contrast, but the photo itself as a whole. In addition, you can use various graphic editors, the most famous of which is Adobe Photoshop.
