During the holiday season, blogs and social media are overflowing with photos from vacation spots. But some popular, constantly repetitive stories cause persistent dislike among subscribers. What pictures are best not to post if you don't want to irritate?
In 2014, experts from a major British travel site Top10.com conducted a study to find out which of the popular "travel photography" is the most annoying for users. Based on the results of the survey, a rating was made of the most banal and boring photo plots. True, the agency's specialists admitted that they are fully aware that in many cases the reason for the negative reaction is primarily envy towards the happy vacationer, who so clearly demonstrates the pleasure of the rest. But the fact remains: the plots included in the rating are indeed very common - and very commonplace.
Weather forecast
Screenshots of smartphones with weather forecasts in a vacation spot took the first place in the ranking. This most popular story annoys more than half of the survey participants - 51% of respondents admitted that they would prefer not to see them in their feed.
Selfie
Selfies that are so popular now also do not inspire enthusiasm among subscribers. 44% of respondents do not like the shots that do not shine with a variety of pictures with endless fingers with the letter "V", demonstrating how great you are having a rest. This scene has won "silver" in the rating of the most annoying pictures.
Feet - hot dogs
The plot “I shoot my tanned slender legs against the background of the sea or the pool” (aka hot dog legs or “legs are sausages”) is still very popular. Despite the fact that this angle has been "pinned on" for many years, the ladies continue to remove their limbs, despite the fact that in this angle the similarity of female legs with toasted sausages is simply amazing. "Feet - Hot Dogs" were in third place for the most annoying vacation pictures - 32% of respondents do not like them.
In flight
Not far from the "sausage legs" left and photos taken in the jump. Of course, people jumping against the backdrop of mountains or the surf often look quite aesthetically pleasing, but the plot itself can already be called “very hackneyed”. 31% of the respondents admitted that they are tired of such photos and do not evoke positive emotions.
Optical illusions and inscriptions in the sand
Recent fashion is "games with scale", when tourists pretend to be holding recognizable landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower. Such "optical illusions" have already ceased to be perceived as something original and frankly fed up. The list of the most annoying photo subjects included 26% of the respondents. Similar results were found for inscriptions made on wet sand - 24% of respondents were tired of them and won the fifth place.
Tantamareski, sunsets and palms
Tantamareski - shields with pictures painted on them with cutouts for faces, have been attracting tourists for more than a decade. 21% of respondents do not like such pictures with heads attached to painted bodies. 19% also reported that they were tired of photographs of "beauty" with sunsets and sunrises, and 16% can no longer look at the "classic angle" - palm trees against the blue sky.
Say what you eat
Rounding out the “annoying top ten” are photographs of food and drinks. However, in this case, one can hardly speak of a serious negative - only 5% of respondents admitted to dislike such vacation photos. By the way, many users just note that pictures of exotic dishes (especially if they are accompanied by comments) are just the case when it is interesting to look at food pictures.
