Decorating the interior for the New Year holidays can be very simple and quick. Try to brighten up your room with a variety of colorful stylized cardboard Christmas trees.
Such a bright Christmas tree will immediately create a New Year's mood in your home, moreover, it is very easy to make it!
For crafts you will need: thick white paper (Whatman paper) or thin cardboard, glue or adhesive tape, scissors, gouache, a brush.
The process of working on the craft:
1. Roll a narrow pointed bag out of a square piece of Whatman paper. Secure it from the inside with duct tape or glue. On the wide side, trim it with scissors so that the projection of the top of the resulting cone is exactly in the middle of the base.
Make several of these cones of different sizes.
Please note that you can not fold cones, but fold regular pyramids with any number of sides.
2. Paint each cone with red, blue, or green gouache. Mix colors in such a way that you get Christmas trees of different colors.
Hint: to get blue, you need to mix white gouache and blue, and if you want to use watercolors, just dilute the blue paint in a little water and paint with this colored water.
3. After the paint has dried, apply dots with white gouache over the entire surface of the future Christmas tree. If you wish, you can replace this step by decorating the Christmas trees with sequins or rhinestones on glue.
Interior paper Christmas trees are ready. Place them around the room in groups of several different sizes.
