No matter how beautiful the living plants in the aquarium are, a special artificial background will give the effect of expanding the space and make the design richer. A roll-up background film is very convenient in this respect.
It is necessary
1 roll of background, pack of JBL Fixol glue or 25 ml glycerin, scotch tape, glass cleaner, sponge
Instructions
Step 1
First, the purchased aquarium background is adjusted to the size of the rear window, minus one centimeter on all sides, the excess is cut off.
Step 2
Then the rear surface of the aquarium is thoroughly cleaned from dirt. This is done with a sponge dipped in glass cleaner.
Step 3
It is better to use JBL Fixol as an adhesive. With it, the background film will last for a very long time. If there is no such glue, then you can use glycerin, it is freely available in the pharmacy. With a special spatula, which is included in the kit, the glue is evenly distributed over the entire glass.
Step 4
Apply a background for the aquarium and smooth it out so that all air bubbles are squeezed out, otherwise they will ruin the whole design. Wrap a cloth over the spatula very well. You can replace the spatula with a straight piece of cardboard.
Step 5
If the aquarium background film is twisted at the corners, then it is temporarily fixed with tape.
Step 6
Wipe off glue squeezed out from the edges with a sponge. For reliability, glue the background around the entire perimeter with adhesive tape. Now the aquarium looks much prettier.
