It is necessary

  • - rhinestones
  • - epoxy adhesive
  • - toothpicks
  • - alcohol
  • - a piece of chalk
  • - soldering iron
  • - iron

Instructions

Step 1

Use cold-fixing rhinestones to decorate a cell phone, flash drive, clutch, key ring and other hard objects. They have a flat bottom, and the color of the stone is determined by the amalgam. For a secure, high-quality bond, use a two-part epoxy adhesive available from any hardware or automotive store.

Step 2

Degrease the surface you are going to decorate by rubbing it with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol. Prepare the glue. In equal proportions, squeeze both components from the syringes into the prepared container and mix thoroughly. Do not dilute all the glue at once, but only enough for 10-15 crystals.

Step 3

Apply glue in dots to each of 10 to 15 decorative pieces. Using a toothpick and a cotton swab, move and glue them to the glued surface, placing them according to the intended pattern.

Step 4

Concentrate on your work and do not get distracted as the glue dries very quickly. Only during work can you have time to correct the drawing or remove excess glue with the same toothpick.

Step 5

When the first ten rhinestones are fixed, dilute a small portion of glue again and glue the next group of crystals.

Step 6

Use hot glue rhinestones to decorate textiles. A composition has already been applied to their bottom, which glues the surfaces, melting when heated. Place the rhinestones on the fabric and iron the seamy side with an iron for a while.

Step 7

If crystals need to be glued in bulk or with a pattern, use a special or ordinary household 40 W soldering iron. Take the paper with the pattern printed on it, circle it with chalk. Place the sheet over the piece you are going to decorate, chalk side down.

Step 8

Gently, tracing each line only once, trace the drawing with a pen or pencil. Remove the paper. The chalk-translated drawing will remain on the textile product. Gently remove excess chalk with a damp cotton swab or eraser.

Step 9

Lay out the rhinestone pattern. If this is your first job, then use large crystals of the same size.

Step 10

Hold a heated soldering iron on the back of each element for 7-10 seconds. After heating, press each crystal to the textile surface, observing its proper place in the drawing.

Step 11

After fixing all the rhinestones on the seamy side of the product, place an iron heated to medium temperature at the location of the pattern. Leave it on for 20 seconds. Remove the iron and check if all crystals are firmly adhered.
