A good painting on the wall can add flavor to your interior. It should match his style and be combined with the rest of the decor. You can transfer the selected picture to the wall yourself, even if you have little drawing skills.
It is necessary
- - picture;
- - ruler;
- - pencil;
- - building level;
- - acrylic paints;
- - brushes and roller.
Instructions
Step 1
Find the drawing that you want to see indoors. Measure the wall you will be applying it to. Format the picture on a computer or manually. Highlight the required part for yourself, which will be on the wall, the rest of the sections can be cut off a little.
Step 2
Apply a wall transfer mesh to the drawing. The more small details you want to display, the smaller the cells you need to make.
Step 3
Walls for painting must be well prepared, that is, putty and sanded. Be sure to prime and dry them before work. Walls that already have paintable wallpaper are immediately ready for drawing.
Step 4
Use a building level that looks like a large ruler and a pencil to mark the wall. Draw on it the same grid as you drew in the picture, observing all the proportions.
Step 5
Transfer the entire drawing carefully onto the prepared wall. Redraw the image from each square of the picture with a pencil. For vertical lines, use a ruler or plumb line. If there are many of the same elements in the picture, for example, leaves on trees, grass, tiles, mark in general terms their location, and emphasize and draw individual details when coloring.
Step 6
Paint the resulting picture on the wall with acrylics. The closer the details of the picture, the larger and brighter they should be. The farther away the composition, the smaller and paler the details. Move away from the wall more often and consider what you get. It is even better to periodically photograph the drawing in order to evaluate the image from the outside.
