You can use a variety of methods to burn music from your computer to disk, from recording using the built-in Windows Wizard to recording music using special software. The most popular way is to burn music from your computer to disc using the Nero program.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the Nero program. A window will appear in front of you, allowing you to select various functions of the program, highlighted in separate utilities. Select the Nero Burning Rom program and launch it. Then insert the disc into the drive, and in the program select the type of disc to be recorded on: CD or DVD. After that, select the window for adding files, which resembles the window of the Explorer program, with files and folders.
Step 2
In the add files window on the right, open the folder that contains the folder you need to burn to the disk. Please note that the music for recording must be in mp3 format, or another format that is supported by the device that plays CDs. Drag and drop or copy the music files you want to the field on the left. Watch the indicator bar, which shows how much free space is occupied on the disk. Make sure that the disc is full, or all the necessary songs have been copied for later recording.
Step 3
Click the "Burn" button, after which the physical recording of music to disk should start. Watch the burning process, it should be complete when 100% of the files are burned. Otherwise, the disc will be damaged if it is not rewritable media. After the burn is finished, insert the disc into the drive again and check how the music was written to the disc.
