The abundance of online communities and forums does not negate the need for live communication. Associations created in the network can be brought into real life by organizing a hobby club.
Instructions
Step 1
Define the theme of your club. Perhaps you and your like-minded people are united by several interests from the same area. In order to attract new members to the association, you need to choose one direction or formulate several as clearly as possible, so that the potential audience knows exactly whether your club is right for them or not. In addition, overseeing the work of the club in several areas will be quite difficult from an organizational point of view.
Step 2
Write a meeting plan for the club. Determine how many percent of them will be devoted to just communication, how many - to master classes, what proportion of classes can be devoted to watching films or programs on the topic, etc. Once the club starts operating, this plan will surely be adjusted in accordance with the needs of the participants.
Step 3
Determine how many times a week and at what time you will meet. This issue is best decided by a general vote, so that the result is acceptable to the majority of club members.
Step 4
Find a meeting room for your club. It should be appropriate for the group's goals (for example, be spacious if you are gathering salsa lovers, or equipped with easels if it is a cartoonist club). It is also worth considering the interests of the majority when choosing a meeting place. If your hobby can cause inconvenience to people around (noise, paint smell, etc.), make sure that the room is well insulated or is not located next to residential apartments.
Step 5
Write a list of consumables or equipment needed for the recruits to purchase. One such set can be purchased and used as a “guest” kit to give newcomers the opportunity to try and decide to join the club.
Step 6
Select (by general vote) the head of the club, who will decide organizational issues. You can also designate one or more curators to conduct group meetings. You can assign a new tutor for each lesson.
Step 7
If desired, develop your club's attributes. Create a logo and badges for participants.
