Many people enjoy watching fish. Their smooth, unhurried lifestyle is soothing and relaxing. If you are determined to have fish, then before you go to the store for them, arrange a cozy beautiful house for them.
Instructions
Step 1
The aquarium looks very nice in a natural style. It involves reproducing a previously seen landscape, and not necessarily underwater. It can be a picturesque scattering of stones or an unusual driftwood seen in the forest.
Step 2
There are many different ways to set up your aquarium background. You can use cork, wood, foam, plastic. You will have to think about it if you want to place the aquarium against the wall. Keep in mind that it is very ugly when all devices, hoses and other aquarium devices are visible through the aquarium. If you want to use a solid background, choose blue or black, these colors will give your aquarium an unusual contrast, drawing attention to its decor. For a natural looking aquarium decoration, you should choose gray, black or brown soil.
Step 3
When designing an aquarium, you need to remember that a group of stones looks much better than one separately lying stone. Place the selected stones and driftwood in a triangle; the largest element should fit into the “golden ratio” rule, ie. 1: 1 ratio, 618 relative to the size of your aquarium. Don't try to use mixed stones. Even ugly stones placed by a group can be used, they will look very attractive.
Step 4
In decoration, you need to use a maximum of two points of focus that catch the eye. It can be an interesting driftwood or stone, or it can be a group of beautiful plants. To create the effect of depth perception in the aquarium, it is good to use undersized plants. You can arrange them in the form of hills or mountain terraces overgrown with moss or low algae, decorating everything with stones.
Step 5
If you do not want to use stones and driftwood in decorating your aquarium, you cannot do without tall plants. They can create a great backdrop for your aquarium when planted in a small group near the back wall. Low-growing plants, on the other hand, should be planted closer to the front wall of the aquarium. Moreover, the difference between the growth of plants in the foreground and background determines the depth of perception of the aquarium as a whole.
Step 6
Also try experimenting with the size and color of the plants for more depth and a more natural aquarium. For example, if your aquarium is less than 60 liters in volume, use plants with smaller leaves, this will visually enlarge it. Plants in red will add more contrast to the overall design of your tank, but if placed in different directions, it will distract the eye from the main accents. Therefore, you should be very careful when choosing the color of your aquarium plants.
Step 7
The choice of the inhabitants of the aquarium should also be treated very carefully. There are fish that like to dig in the ground, picking up sand from the bottom, or gobble up aquarium plants. For example, in those aquariums where plants with delicate small leaves are located, they are populated with calm fish, like neons. They will not spoil the plants and do not dig out the soil.
