- - flat synthetic ribbon;

Instructions
Step 1
1. First of all, carefully separate the notebook pages from the cover. We only need the cover itself. It is good if the cover consists of two halves, as in notebooks with springs. If yours is not, then you also need to carefully separate the front and back covers from each other.
Step 2
2. Next, you need to cut the ribbon into 4 equal parts. The length of each part should be such that it exceeds the width of the cover by a couple of centimeters. It is advisable to burn the edges of the ribbons with a lighter so that they do not creep.
Step 3
3. The next step is to glue two ribbons in such a way that they lie on one part of the cover and are glued with their tips to it, and with the other ends they are glued to the other part of the cover, as shown in the photo.
Step 4
4. Now you need to glue the other two ribbons in the same way, only to the other half of the cover.
Step 5
5. As a result, it should look something like the photo. Light green dashed lines show ribbons that run from the invisible side of the notebook. The red dots are the places of the ribbons that are glued to the cover.
Now, if everything is done correctly, the notebook can be opened both in one direction and in the other, which will surprise your friends and please children a lot.
