Pantaloons are experiencing a second youth. Over the past few centuries, their role has varied. It could be erotic lace knickers that drove men crazy. The famous Soviet pantaloons with fleece looked somewhat ugly, but they were very warm in them. Pantaloons of all grades and types are now popular. It can be either part of a secular reenactment costume, or a completely modern piece of underwear. You can sew them yourself.

Instructions
Step 1
Make a pattern. If you have a pattern of tight enough pants, you can use that. If there is no ready-made pattern, you need to build it. Measure the girth of the hips and divide the resulting number by 2. The measure must be divided by another 3, 6, 8 and 16. Write down the results.
Step 2
On a piece of graph paper, draw a horizontal line equal to the half-girth of the hips, plus 5 cm. Draw perpendiculars down from the ends of the line. Set aside on them distances equal to 1/3 of the half girth of the hips. Connect the midpoints with a straight line. Divide the perpendiculars in half and draw a line parallel to the top through the middle.
Step 3
Continue the bottom line. Set aside a segment equal to 1/8 of the half girth of the hips to the left, and 1/16 to the right. Designate these points with any letters - for example, A and B. From these new points, move down the perpendiculars at a distance of 5 cm and connect the resulting points with a straight line.
Step 4
From the upper left corner of the grid, set aside 4 cm to the right and put a point. Connect it with a smooth line to point A. Continue the arc upwards by 3 cm. Connect this new point with a straight line with the upper right corner of the grid. Connect point B to the right end of the middle line of the grid. Cut out a pattern.
Step 5
Fold the fabric in half, right side inward. Spread out the pattern so that the thread of the fabric matches the vertical lines of the pattern. It is also better to draw the seam allowances right away. Leave 1 cm for vertical cuts, 2, 3-3 cm for horizontal cuts. Cut out the details.
Step 6
Fold one piece right-side in and line up the legs. Sweep them, sew them and iron the seam. Allowances can be overlocked or overcast. You can also fold them towards the base fabric and stitch them. Sew the second leg in the same way.
Step 7
Now you need to sew the center seam. To do this, turn one leg out onto the front side, leave the other as it is. Insert the first leg into the second. Sweep and try on. You may need to adjust something. If everything is ok, sew a long seam. With the allowances, do exactly the same as you did on the legs. Fold both allowances to one side and press.
Step 8
Fold the top edge 2 times. Baste the hem, making sure to leave a hole for the elastic. Sew the hem. Overcast the hole and insert the elastic. In the same way, fold over and hem the legs of both legs.
Step 9
Decorate the pantaloons with sewing or lace. Divide a piece of lace in half and sew 2 identical rings. It is better to sew lace with an overlap of 0.5 cm with a "zigzag". Gather up the lace. This can be done by hand using a forward seam or machine stitching with long stitches. Pull the ring so that it is the same width as the leg. Place it on the bottom of the leg and sew in a zigzag or by hand.
