You can learn to play the guitar both independently and with a teacher. However, you can also learn notes during the learning process, combining theory with practice. Knowing the notes is an optional element to get started. The main thing you need is persistence and time.
Instructions
Step 1
Whether you are going to train alone or with someone else, you should start by learning how to fit. Please note that beginners do not in any way play while standing, at the very beginning this is done exclusively in a sitting position. There is a classic position that should be adhered to at least at first. It is not necessary, the main thing is that you feel comfortable and that your body does not experience strong stress. Do not forget about the correct position of the hands, as it directly affects your abilities and skills. So, place the guitar on your left foot, and set the neck so that its top is about shoulder level. When playing, do not lean forward, keep your back straight.
Step 2
If you don't know the music, you can easily learn them. You can do this on your own, without resorting to the help of a teacher (although it obviously will not be superfluous). You can download the music index on the Internet, there are more than enough sites with them. Start with easy notes, focus on Am, C, E, Dm and A7.
Step 3
Video materials (individual lessons or courses at once) will be a good help in training practical skills. They can also be found online. Thanks to them, you will acquire a large amount of new and very useful information. When searching, try to choose the material that is intended specifically for beginners. Such lessons will be quite within your power, they will not be too difficult. Together with the teacher, you will learn new songs, recognize and memorize chords.
