Radio Chacha is a project that has absolutely nothing to do with radio broadcasting. This is a musical group founded by Alexander Ivanov. The singer is known to a wide audience as a soloist of the Naiv collective.
Radio Chacha
In 2010, a new project appeared in the music world, which was named "Radio Chacha". The presentation of the group took place in the spring in one of the nightclubs of the capital. Despite the fact that Alexander Ivanov was one of the founders of the "Naiv" project, the compositions of "Radio Chachi" are fundamentally different from the songs that were performed by the previous collective. The founder of the group himself confirms in numerous interviews that "Chacha" is the realization of ideas that have been accumulating over the years.
From the very beginning of its existence, Radio Chacha has been actively cooperating with the famous performer Noize MC. The group's collection has already accumulated several joint compositions, which were almost instantly appreciated by the fans.
Musicians of Radio Chachi can be seen in other projects as well. For example, in the groups "Fantasy" and INOVA.
The main structure of the project includes four people - Alksandr "Chacha" Ivanov, guitarists Nikolay Bogdanov and Ilya Spirin, and Mikhail Kozodaev is responsible for the percussion instruments.
Alexander "Chacha" Ivanov
Alexander "Chacha" Ivanov is an active participant in the world of rock music. The musician was born in the USA, but most of his life he lives and works in Russia. In addition to musical projects, Alexander is also known as a music journalist.
The musicians of Radio Chachi took part in the production of Anarchy, the author of which is Garik Sukachev. The main roles were played by Dmitry Pevtsov, Mikhail Efremov and Maria Selyanskaya.
The most famous project of the musician was the group "Naiv". It was founded back in 1988. The group can be called an "army" creation of two colleagues, because Alexander met the second creator, Maxim Kochetkov, in the army.
Despite the success and popularity, in 2013 the Naiv project ceased to exist. The band members called their departure from the stage "sabbatical." The press has repeatedly drawn conclusions that the collapse of the collective happened precisely because the main soloist was carried away by the new project of Radio Chacha.
Musical life of "Radio Chachi"
Radio Chacha is a regular participant in the Nashestvie rock festivals and regularly tops the ratings on Nashe Radio. Almost immediately after the presentation, the band took the lead in the "Devil's Dozen" top and began performing at the openings of many concerts.
At the moment, the group has already released two albums and presented several DVD concerts. The band can be seen at almost every metropolitan event dedicated to rock music. In addition, the team annually organizes tours to cities in Russia and Europe.
