Individual design of notebooks and photo albums has long come into fashion and got its name - scrapbooking. In this technique, notepads are decorated both with the help of special flowers and feathers sold in sets for scrapbooking, and with the help of improvised materials - dried flowers, lace trimmings, magazine clippings - for which the author's imagination is enough.

Instructions
Step 1
If the cover of the notebook does not suit you, use a glue - pencil to glue a sheet of scrapbooking paper of the color you like. You can combine multiple sheets by cutting two rectangles or four squares for the cover. If the original cover is beautiful enough, you can work on it.
Step 2
It would be nice to decorate the notebook with a photograph of its owner (loved one, child, dog). To do this, cut out a frame for a photo from scrap paper. Remember to measure the size of the photo in advance and make the frame exactly according to it. Take a piece of lace, fold it, place it under your frame and glue it.
Step 3
On colored or white paper, draw a butterfly, cut it out and glue it near the corner of your frame using a glue stick. If you are not good at drawing, it is better to download a butterfly stencil from the Internet and print. Also, the work will be much easier if you have a curly hole punch - you can make a butterfly using it.
Step 4
Now cut out additional decorative elements from scrap paper. Usually flowers, birds, leaves are used to decorate notebooks. Glue them onto the cover with glue. Also use dried flowers and their petals to decorate your notebook. Small feathers of birds are also suitable for this purpose. Try several options for the arrangement of decorative elements, choose which composition you like best, and only after that stick it on the cover.
Step 5
One of the elements can be made voluminous. To do this, use foam tape instead of glue.
Step 6
Notebooks decorated with liquid pearls look very beautiful. They can draw spirals and various patterns, while varying the size of the droplets from small to large "pearls".
Step 7
Now paste the photo you have chosen in advance into the frame. Your hand-made notebook is ready.
