"Blue Screen of Death" - a message from the system about the failure of the computer. For many users, this message disappears too quickly from the monitor, as the system starts to reboot automatically. Because of this, it is not possible to find out the cause of the failure. You can make the "blue screen" static (not disappearing from the monitor due to a system reboot) using the settings.

Step 1
A system failure is always an unexpected event, and hardly any of the users will be able to avoid it. If failures occur extremely rarely, you do not need to worry about the state of the operating system. But in cases where the "blue screen of death" appears at an enviable frequency, it is necessary to find out the cause of the failures and eliminate them.
Step 2
The message displayed on the screen contains information about the address at which the failure occurred, and in the operation of which equipment the errors should be corrected. To have time to familiarize yourself with (rewrite, photograph) the "blue screen of death", you must cancel the automatic reboot.

To do this, open the System component. This can be done in several ways. Click on the "Start" button or the Windows key, find the item "My Computer" in the main menu and right-click on it. In the context menu, select the "Properties" command. The same can be done by selecting the item "My Computer" on the "Desktop".

Alternatively, go to the Control Panel from the Start menu. In the Performance and Maintenance category, left-click on the System icon. A new System Properties dialog box will open.

In the window that opens, go to the "Advanced" tab. In the last group, "Startup and Recovery", click on the "Options" button. An additional dialog box will open in which you need to configure the desired parameters.
Step 6
Find the "System Failure" group in the window and uncheck the "Automatically restart" box. If you want information about the failure to be also recorded in the event log, additionally set the marker in the "Write event to the system log" field.
Step 7
Click the OK button in the Startup and Recovery window for the new settings to take effect. In the "System Properties" window, click the OK button or the [x] icon in the upper right corner of the window to close it.
