A hand-made Christmas tree, of course, cannot fully replace a live spruce, however, with the help of such an accessory, you can decorate a festive table or give it as a souvenir for the New Year. You can make a Christmas tree from various materials, including cardboard.
It is necessary
- - thick cardboard;
- - ruler;
- - pencil;
- - masking tape, yellow or green;
- - scissors;
- - glue;
- - decorative elements (tinsel, rain, Christmas tree decorations, beads, rhinestones, etc.).
Instructions
Step 1
To make a Christmas tree, it is better to use thick cardboard cut from boxes from large household appliances, or ordinary cardboard, pre-glued in 2-3 layers. Using a pencil and a ruler, draw on a sheet of cardboard the outlines of a future Christmas tree with three rows of needles and a stand at the bottom (its length should coincide with the last row of needles). We cut out the intended workpiece and make another exactly the same shape, using the first one as a stencil.
Step 2
On one of the blanks, mark with a pencil a cut line from the middle of the stand to half the length at an angle of 90 degrees. We do the same with the second figure, only it is necessary to draw a line from the center of the crown and exactly to the middle of the length.
Step 3
To give the cardboard a more attractive look, glue the cut out figures on all sides with masking tape in bright yellow color. If desired, the cardboard can be pasted over with colored paper or adhesive tape in green, red or yellow.
Step 4
When both blanks are pasted over, it is necessary to connect them into a single structure by inserting two crafts into each other (groove in groove) so that a four-sided spruce is obtained.
Step 5
We process each edge of a homemade Christmas tree with glue, on which we then glue the New Year's tinsel.
Step 6
When the glue is completely dry, you can proceed to the final stage - the decor of the New Year's beauty. We hang Christmas balls on hooks on it, piercing cardboard with them, glue rhinestones, beads, sequins and decorate the tree with rain or serpentine.
