Step 1
In order to recover information that you deleted from a specific partition of your hard disk, use special software utilities, for example, R-studio, Easy Recovery, Testdisk, Acronis Disk Director Suite, and so on. Usually, these programs are not free, and to use them you will need to pay a license fee. Some of them have a trial period and are quite suitable for one-time use. The best way to download them is from the official website. Try not to use unlicensed copies of programs.
Step 2
Install the software of your choice on your computer, after making sure the recovery disc is connected to it. Go to the "My Computer" section, right-click on the part of the disk, the files on which you want to recover and click on the "Format" item.
Step 3
Be sure to tick the box "Quick formatting (clearing the table of contents)", otherwise all data will be lost and will not be recoverable. Wait until the end of formatting and open the program you have installed for subsequent data recovery from hard disk partitions.
Step 4
Familiarize yourself with the main menu of the program of your choice and scan the disk partition whose files you want to recover. After that, choose to restore the disk partition, or use the filter to set the parameters for restoring files of a certain format or size. Also check the box to save the folder structure, if there is one in your program.
