Magic - how to explain the inexplicable?
Magic is a cross between religion and science, since, on the one hand, it assumes the presence of supernatural forces and phenomena, and on the other hand, it sees a causal relationship between certain actions and subsequent events. In addition, magical practices are usually aimed at achieving specific goals, albeit in a supernatural way.
Psychologists say that the main influencing force of voodoo magic is belief, which makes a person think that he is cursed and will soon die.
The history of magic and occultism begins in ancient times, when primitive people began to see traces of the influence of inexplicable forces in certain events and tried to influence these forces. Until a certain time, magic was not a profession in the full sense of the word, and every primitive man tried to win over supernatural forces on his own with the help of conspiracies, rituals, amulets and rituals. However, with the emergence of the division of labor, the wisest members of the tribe began to engage exclusively in witchcraft and communication with spirits. The very word "magician" appeared to designate the Zoroastrian priests, allegedly possessing mystical powers.
The study and improvement of magical techniques never stopped, so in the modern world there are a huge number of different schools and directions of magic: from classical voodoo to frightening necromancy. Black magic is considered the darkest type of witchcraft, since it is aimed precisely at inflicting evil by turning to dark forces.
In Medieval Europe, for example, numerous witches practiced black magic, and the Devil was the source of their supernatural power. The main difference between black magic and other types is that its followers set themselves objectively bad goals, which they strive to achieve through rituals and rituals. It can be the death or illness of another person, problems at work, discord in the family - in general, everything that, from the point of view of morality, is on the side of evil intentions.
In most religions, practicing magic is considered one of the worst sins, but in Buddhism, having supernatural abilities is not something reprehensible.
Black magic or black soul?
Unfortunately, science cannot give an unambiguous answer to the question: does magic exist at all? On the one hand, many phenomena cannot be explained using modern scientific methods, but on the other hand, even a few hundred years ago, even scientists were convinced that the Sun revolves around the Earth. Methods of scientific knowledge are constantly evolving, therefore, it is quite possible that in the near future the presence of supernatural human abilities will be officially confirmed or refuted.
At the current moment, we can only assert that after certain magical actions, phenomena sometimes occur, which are most easily explained by the intervention of higher forces, but a direct connection cannot be proved. If magic really exists, then there is also its black variety, since the supernatural forces themselves are rarely good or evil, and everything depends on the personality of the magician himself and the goals he achieves.
