In cool weather, a baby cannot do without a warm hat with braids, made on knitting needles.

Instructions
Step 1
Cast on the needles (No. 3, 5) 29 loops and knit 2 rows with the front satin stitch. Next, knit the strip with the "Braids" pattern, 46 cm long.
Step 2
Remove the remaining hinges with a pin. Complete the back of the beanie. Cast on 52 front loops from the front side of the strip from the edge loops. Knit 1 row with knit stitches.
Step 3
Then divide these stitches into 3 parts as follows: for the middle - 16 stitches, 18 stitches on both sides.
Continue knitting: middle 16 sts with 1x1 elastic, and 16th and side stitch, knit 2 stitches together, like the heel of a toe.
Step 4
In each 6 or 7 row, knit 2 loops together with the front one 4 times, so that as a result of 16 loops there are only 8 loops, then move them to the pin.
Step 5
Performing the front of the cap, go to the needles # 3. On the opposite side of the edge strip, cast on 52 loops and knit 3-5 cm with an elastic band 1 * 1.
Step 6
On the bottom of the hat, cast on the loops, including the loops on the pins, and knit 1 row with the front loops. In the next row, make holes for the strings: 1 hem, (yarn, 2 together with the front), and thus continuing to the end of the row.
Step 7
After knitting another row with the front loops, freely close the loops without tightening. Prepare the skins: crochet a chain of air loops of the desired length and make a single crochet in each loop.
