When knitting shawls, dresses or even handbags, many patterns can be used, the patterns of which are now very easy to get. Quite often, with such knitting, an uncomplicated "shell" pattern is used, which can be performed both with knitting needles and crocheted.
It is necessary
- - yarn;
- - hook number 4-4, 5 (it is better to choose the size of the hook according to the thickness of the yarn);
- - scissors.
Instructions
Step 1
With a crochet, type the required number of air loops and, if necessary, add a few more so that the number of loops is a multiple of six - for rapport. Perform 2 lifting stitches and tie five double crochet stitches in the third resulting chain. Make 2 more air and one double crochet stitch in the same loop as the previous five stitches.
Step 2
Step back five chain stitches and in the sixth also tie 5 double crochets. Using this pattern, knit the row to the end, until there are three air loops. Skip two and knit one double crochet into the last stitch.
Step 3
Make three lifting chain stitches and tie five double crochet stitches through the first row stitches (two stitches tied between one and five stitches). Next, two air loops and a column with two crochets in the same loops of the previous row. On one rapport, you should get one "shell".
Step 4
Then knit a row according to the same mechanism, that is, you knit the next 5 columns with two crochets through the air loops of the second "shell" of the previous row and so on until the end. Please note that only in the first row two lifting loops are made, and in subsequent rows it is advisable to do three.
