Thinkers believed that if a person is created in the image and likeness of God, then he must also create and create in all available spheres of art, science and other activities. Not everyone, but many people have access to a form of art, which is based on a set of sounds of different heights, volumes and timbre colors - music.

It is necessary

  • A computer with a sound recording program installed (in the example Fruity loops) or a music editor;
  • Bank of electronic instruments;
  • Virtual synthesizers;
  • Rhythm bank (drum samples);
  • Fundamentals of musical knowledge and ear for music.

Instructions

Step 1

First, decide how you will record the work - in audio format or in sheet music (tablatures). Decide on the genre, the mood of the future work, think over the instrumentation (mixed or homogeneous choir, voice with a piano or string ensemble, something else).

Step 2

Improvise on an accessible instrument, preserving the already thought out features of the piece in memory and manner of playing. Please note that passages that are easily played by the flute are not possible in vocal music and vice versa.

Step 3

Frame the melody in the same mood. Record it in sheet music or play it in the audio editor. Derive and separate the themes of the work from it: introduction, main theme, development, culmination, finale. Diversify all motives, not forgetting about the main idea of the work.

Step 4

Time of percussion instruments. Choose them in harmony with the main theme. In any case, they should be heard, but quieter than the melody. Achieve realism by adding muffling to every second beat.

Step 5

Write down the bass part. Do not make it complicated, the bass pitch can be changed at all up to once in two measures. And the rhythm can be diversified a little.

Step 6

Add some echoes. They should fill the empty space between the rhythm section and the melody, that is, the mids. Naturally, you cannot drown out the main theme.

Step 7

When working in an audio editor, do the mixing at the end. Use various effects to achieve balance and harmony between different tracks, remove noise and overtones. This is not needed in a music editor.
