Among lovers of applied art, there are always many who want to experiment with form. At first glance, the triangle is not very remarkable, but one has only to add a little volume to it, finish it a little and turn it into a pyramid, and a very interesting figure appears in front of us. And if you fantasize a little and make it out of beads using the Ndebele weaving technique, you can expect to get a small work of art.

Instructions

Step 1

The Ndebele beading technique originated in South Africa and has more than 200 years of history. Thanks to the “Ndebele”, a pattern is obtained that is somewhat reminiscent of a “herringbone”, where the beads are arranged like loops in a canvas knitted with ordinary needles. So, prepare Japanese beads "Miyuki Delica" No. 11 in two colors, or for lack of one - Czech beads. In addition, you will need a beaded needle with a nylon thread, a "heart" pendant made by Swarovski and a base for the pendant in the form of a leather cord.

Step 2

Take a thread, measure about 2.5 meters and start weaving from the middle of it. Its second half will form the basis of the second half of the triangle. Collect the beads in the following sequence: 2 beads of a tint color and then - 13 pieces of the main color, etc. The result should be a ring that closes through the first bead.

Step 3

From two beads of a tinted color, pick up a step in the "Ndebele" style, and then weave with a mosaic according to the main color. On tinted beads, the “Ndebele” step is repeated again until the end of the circle.

Step 4

After that, you need to weave three more circles. If you did everything correctly, then you should have six pairs of tint "Ndebele" at each corner. After one side of the triangle is ready, proceed to the second. The second end of the thread will go into business. Begin to weave the first row with the same beads. Do not forget to take the Ndebele step at the corners. It is better to weave the prepared heart immediately into the middle of the inner side of the triangle with the same needle, while adding a few beads.

Step 5

Then weave the second side of the fastener and complete the row and so on until the second side is completed. The sides of the triangle should be symmetrical. For extra grace, you can break the symmetry by adding one bead on each side, including the corners.

Step 6

Sew the edges, and bring the threads to the upper edge of the triangle and begin to weave an adapter plate under the leather lace. Then weave using the usual mosaic method, and in the last bead the needles must intersect. The bar should not be high. String the same number of beads on the divorced threads and weave a tube. Finish the work by stitching the tube.
