Fragile, touching, incredibly charming Vera Glagoleva is a real personification of the dreams of many men. The life of a talented actress and director was bright and eventful, she loved and was loved. The first marriage ended in divorce, but left two beautiful daughters, the second turned out to be happier.
First husband: Rodion Nahapetov
Rodion Nakhapetov was born in 1944, he is 12 years older than Glagoleva. The family was international: Rodion's father Raphael had Armenian roots, his mother was Ukrainian. The boy's childhood was difficult, because of his mother's illness, he had to spend some time in an orphanage.
After graduating from school, Rodion entered the acting department of VGIK, and later unlearned at the directing department. The director met Vera Glagoleva on the set of the film To the End of the World. The novel was bright and beautiful, in the same 1976 the young people got married.
Two daughters were born in the marriage: Annie and Maria. The girls who were born in a creative family grew up as extraordinary personalities. Later, Anna became a ballerina and entered the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater. Maria preferred a more mundane specialty and took up computer graphics. For some time she lived in the United States with her husband, then returned to Russia. The sisters are very friendly, they have maintained quite warm relations with their father, especially since the mother never interfered with their communication.
Despite the outward idyll, the relationship between Vera and Rodion was never smooth. In the life of the spouses there was everything: mutual jealousy, reproaches, quarrels over work schedules, money, raising children. However, both did not like to be frank with the press, the divorce came as a complete surprise to colleagues and friends. There were no scandals, but Vera did not like to remember the difficult period of parting with the father of her children.
In 1991, Nakhapetov emigrated to the United States, after a while he remarried. The wife of the actor and director was Natalya Shlyapnikoff, his manager. In the first years after the move, Rodion worked at local film studios, then he and his wife opened their own production company.
Second marriage: Kirill Shubsky
After the divorce, Vera completely plunged into work, devoting all her free time to her growing daughters. During this period, there was a creative crisis: the actress grew up, the proposals from the directors became less and less. Glagoleva decided on a radical change and moved to the other side of the camera, becoming a director. Vera quickly got used to her new quality, she shot very unexpected pictures: strong, ambiguous, even tough. This contradicted her previous role as an air fairy, but fully corresponded to the new mood.
On the personal front, everything was calm. Having hardly survived the divorce, Vera did not rush things and did not seek to bring a new man into the house. However, she did not have to live long alone - in the same 1991, Glagoleva met businessman Nikolai Shubsky. The fateful meeting took place at the Golden Duke festival. The novel was bright and short - later Glagoleva admitted that both understood that they were simply meant for each other. The couple was not even stopped by the age difference - this time Vera turned out to be older.
They did not drag out the wedding, and after 2 years, their daughter Anastasia was born. The birth took place in Switzerland: Nikolai decided that he could not risk the health of his wife and long-awaited daughter. The businessman managed to create an ideal home for his four women, Vera admitted in an interview that she was completely shielded from boring life.
The new spouse of the mother was warmly received by the elder daughters of Glagoleva. Shubsky had enough patience and tact to establish contacts with adult independent girls. A friendly and quite trusting relationship was established between them. The happy family that Vera has always dreamed of has become a reality.
The couple lived in absolute harmony, Glagoleva continued to work hard and planned new projects. Shubsky's business was successful, the family was fully provided for financially. In 2017, the luxurious wedding of Anastasia, who married hockey player Alexander Ovechkin, took place. Both spouses took part in organizing and conducting the event, although Vera was already seriously ill at that time. She hid her condition, realizing that it was very unbearable for her loved ones to think about her suffering.
After the wedding, Glagolev's daughter lived for several more months. She died in August 2017, leaving Shubsky as a widower. Helping his daughters fell on his shoulders, and they, in turn, provide tremendous moral support to the father - family and foster.
