Step 1
Choose a knitting fork from a craft store. Read the tool number carefully: it indicates the distance between two spokes. If you wish to have one plug for all sizes, see the “multi-size” label on the package. You can also use a regular aluminum spoke. Just bend it in the middle, making sure the ends are flush. Step 2
Find the right thread. With the help of a fork, openwork stripes are mainly made, which are then connected to each other. To make the product airy, the threads must be light and thin. For example, thin mohair works well.

A hook is used as the main tool in knitting on a fork. At the beginning, make a loop from the prepared thread. Note that the length of the eyelet should be half the distance between the ends of the fork.
