A beautiful and colorful composition of roses is an elegant interior decoration. However, fresh flowers fade very quickly, but you can make a bright bouquet of autumn maple leaves, it will delight you for many months to come.
To make one rose, you will need:
- about 10 colorful leaves of various sizes;
- a small twig;
- floristic tape;
- scissors.
The first way
When walking in an autumn park, collect freshly fallen leaves or pluck them from a tree, the material should not be dry. You will need leaves of a variety of sizes from the smallest to the largest and a wide variety of shades from yellow to crimson.
A rose can be made not only from maple, but also from the foliage of other types of wood, for example, aspen. Charming little buds are made from birch leaves.
Sort the leaves by size. Spread them out on your work surface, starting with the smallest. You should start working with it.
Take a piece of paper and fold it in half on the wrong side. Roll it into a tube. Holding the first part with your left hand, take a larger sheet with your right, bend it in half and wrap it around the first one. Place the next sheet on the other side of the middle.
Continue wrapping the leaves around the bud, with each subsequent being larger. The number of maple leaves depends on the size of your future flower.
Florists advise to grease the leaves with vegetable oil, so they will not lose their color.
Wrap the bottom of the rose tightly with threads and tie them tightly. Attach a small twig to simulate a stem. Wrap the bottom of the bud and stem with floral tape.
Second way
This method is a little easier. To make a rose, you will need the same number of leaves in different shades.
The more leaves you use, the more luxuriant the rose will turn out.
Cut off the petioles of all the leaves. Attach a wire to the bottom of each. Start making a flower with the smallest leaf. Roll it up with a straw. And then apply larger leaves, giving the flower a natural shape. There is no need to fold and twist the material. Twist the wire at the bottom of the parts periodically so that the craft does not fall apart. Next, twist the wire again to form the stem of the flower and wrap the bottom and wire tightly with floral tape.
At the beginning, this flower will resemble a rose only distantly, but after a couple of days, when the leaves dry, they will twist by themselves and you will get a beautiful flower.
