Amulets have been used since ancient times and, interestingly, on all continents. They were worn as jewelry, put in houses or next to them, sewn into clothes. Amulets that people wear on their bodies are divided into two groups: those that are displayed, and those that are hidden from prying eyes. Some charms have an unusual and strange appearance, they are unusual or ugly, they attract attention - they serve as a demonstration of the protective force that protects their owner and warns enemies.

Some, rather unpresentable amulets, which, nevertheless, have great power, are worn under clothes. So, one of the strongest amulets is considered to be an ordinary stone with a naturally formed hole - "chicken god", but wearing it over clothes, of course, will be funny. The same applies to pieces of ancient fossils, which, according to esotericists, also have a powerful protective effect. The effect of the amulet itself does not become less powerful, even if it is hidden under clothing.

They wear amulets closer to those places where the pulse is noticeable. So, the ancient Russians wore leather bandages as amulets on their necks, wrists and temples. It is in these places that a person's life is most vulnerable, so the bandages were designed to protect them. Then necklaces, bracelets and earrings were put on these places, which also served as amulets.
