Knitted men's pullovers do not lose their relevance, because handmade is always more original than the most elegant industrial product. Try to connect the model with the simplest shape and uncomplicated relief. The braided pattern and rectangular cut details will create a rough, masculine look for your loved one. If you combine a simple knit with a delicate material (such as cashmere or merino wool), then you get a stylish product that is pleasant to wear.
It is necessary
- - needles No. 2, 5 and 3, 5;
- - 700 g of cashmere or merino wool;
- - 2 pins;
- - darning needle;
- - centimeter.
Instructions
Step 1
Type on the needles No. 2, 5 loops for knitting the elastic of the men's pullover - this is the future lower edge of the back. The number of loops should be a multiple of 6, plus 3 additional loops for the symmetry of the pattern and 2 more edge loops. For example, for the back of a piece of size 52, 23 starting loops will be enough.
Step 2
Make a 3x3 elastic (knit 3 and purl 3), 6 centimeters high. Then you should knit on larger needles - No. 3, 5. In the first front row, begin to carry out the "braid" pattern.
Step 3
First, do only knit stitches (to the end of the row), then in the same way you will knit all odd rows up to the twenty-first (see point 6).
Step 4
In the second (and then in other even rows, from the fourth to the tenth) - begin to alternate sequentially 3 purl with 3 front loops.
Step 5
From the twelfth row (later - also in all odd rows from the fourteenth to the twentieth), knit, on the contrary, 3 front, 3 purl, etc.
Step 6
In the twenty-first row, the main pattern of a men's pullover will be repeated on the patterns of the first to twentieth rows.
Step 7
Knit the back of the product with a straight fabric without rounding the armholes of the sleeves and cutting the neckline to the desired height. In the example shown, the height of the main cut (excluding the elastic at the bottom) is 57 cm.
Step 8
Upon reaching this value, instead of the main pattern, begin to perform a 3x3 elastic band, and tie it 7 cm high.
Step 9
When you knit the back of the pullover to the shoulder line, leave open loops in the center of the part and put them on the pins. This will be the line for the head opening (on a size 52 model it should be at least 24 cm long).
Step 10
Continue knitting with a 3x3 elastic. Line the shoulders from different balls, then type the missing air loops and tie an elastic fabric 7 cm.
Step 11
This will create the upper hem of the front of the pullover. You will knit this part from top to bottom according to the back pattern.
Step 12
Measure on the sides of the main details of the cut of the men's pullover an armhole for sleeves approximately 44 cm wide (22 cm at the back and the same at the front; center of the armholes is the line of the shoulders). Pick up buttonholes for sleeves from edge buttonholes.
Step 13
Knit the sleeves in a braided pattern from top to bottom. To make the details wedge-shaped, you need to gradually narrow the canvas on both sides. To do this, first in every fifth, then in every sixth row, the extreme loops should be knitted together. As a result, you will have 1 loop decrease 24 times.
Step 14
After that, start decreasing in every fifth row and remove 1 loop 8 times. When 6 cm remains until the end of the sleeve, move to the 3x3 elastic and close the loops of the last row.
Step 15
Try on a knitted product. If you managed to knit the pullover correctly, sew the sides and sleeves from the wrong side.
Step 16
Close the open loops from the pins with a stitching stitch: bring the needle and thread out from the back through the loop, then from the front to the back through the adjacent thread bow. The undulating seam will press the adjacent hinge walls - the head opening will appear complete.
