Biography and personal life

Zhanna Friske (real name - Kopylova) was born in 1974 in Moscow. Since childhood, she has shown a penchant for singing and artistry, demonstrating excellent vocal abilities. Also, the girl was fond of dancing, acrobatics and rhythmic gymnastics. She graduated from the 406th school in the capital and entered the Faculty of Journalism at the Moscow University for the Humanities. The study did not work out, and Zhanna left the university, finding a job in a furniture company. In the future, she taught choreography at the Sports Palace, but she understood that she would like a better career for herself.

In 1997 Zhanna Friske became a member of the "Brilliant" group. It is believed that this happened due to communication with the soloist Olga Orlova, with whom she was friends for some time, or an acquaintance with the producer of the collective Andrei Gromov. It was then that her sonorous pseudonym surname was born. In 1998 the band recorded the album “Just Dreams”, which turned out to be very successful. Then, with an interval of several years, the discs "Over the Four Seas", "About Love" and "Orange Paradise" are released. By the time the latter was released, the team had undergone changes, but Zhanna remained unchanged and, in fact, the most popular participant. Repeatedly she was recognized as one of the most beautiful and sexy women in Russia.

Since 2005, Friske has been pursuing a solo career. She released an album with the sonorous title "Jeanne", after which she focused on publishing singles and producing music videos. The singer presented her last song "Love Wanted" in 2015. Over the years of her career, Zhanna also managed to try herself in the role of an actress, having performed notable roles in the films "Night Watch", "Day Watch", "What Men Talk About" and others. In addition, she has repeatedly become a participant in various TV shows, including "The Last Hero" and "Circus with the Stars".

The sexy singer was repeatedly seen in the company of shocking men, including Sergei Amoralov, Mitya Fomin, Alexander Ovechkin and even Dmitry Nagiyev, but she was in no hurry to advertise official relations. And yet, in the mid-2000s, the public became aware of her affair with entrepreneur Ilya Mitelman, but it did not come to the wedding. In 2011, Zhanna began dating TV presenter Dmitry Shepelev. In 2013, their son Plato was born. The happy couple planned a wedding, but illness intervened in the fate of the singer.

Sickness and death

In 2013, Zhanna Friske's health suddenly began to deteriorate: frequent and severe headaches began. Diagnostics confirmed the presence of a brain tumor in a serious stage. Long and difficult months of fighting the disease began, to which the best specialists from Russia and abroad were involved. The singer was admitted to one of the best clinics in the United States, and yet, as a result, the tumor was declared inoperable. To save the singer, Channel One managed to raise 68 million rubles live on air, but later Zhanna's relatives decided to send them to charity.

In the summer of 2015, Jeanne's condition became critical. She experienced severe pain and difficulty breathing, and all the efforts of the doctors did not give any improvement. On the night of June 16, the singer died quietly while sleeping. She was 40 years old. Close and numerous fans said goodbye to Zhanna at the Moscow Crocus City Hall. They buried her at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery. In 2016, a monument in the form of a full-length sculpture of the singer was erected on her grave. Jeanne's son currently lives with his father, who only recently managed to move away from grief and return to work on television.
