A magician is a fairy-tale character who is endowed with the ability to witchcraft. In some cases, he has the gift of foresight, and can also attract higher forces to solve earthly problems.

Step 1
The magician is usually depicted in the form of an old man or a hermit, dressed in a long cloak. Therefore, start reproducing the character from the image of the figure - outline the location of the body parts. The standing pose is the main one for the wizard when he implements the next conspiracy.
Step 2
Although the magician is a fictional hero, his proportions are quite similar to those of humans. On a piece of paper, place two dots between which the character will be placed. Take into account only the outline of the body. For the protruding parts of the garment, of course, it is also worth leaving room, but for now, keep it in mind.
Step 3
Conditionally divide the figure into two horizontally equal sectors - draw a belt line between them. Starting from it, draw the skeleton of the figure in the form of thin strokes. Place your feet shoulder-width apart, take one hand to the side - it is necessary to demonstrate the magician's abilities. If the proportions are correct, thicken the lines to create a full-fledged human figure.
Step 4
Determine the direction of the wind, under the influence of which the cloak develops. Imagine how the fabric flows under the influence of gusts, and depict the cape in this way - it should not completely cover the body.
Step 5
On the character's head, place a hat with wide brims, draw its dome in the form of a cone, and place an identification mark, for example, a star, on the crown of the head.
Step 6
Start drawing the face, paying special attention to the nose, eyebrows and eyes. Try to convey the mood of the hero, a neutral grimace is unacceptable. If the character is angry, bring your eyebrows to the bridge of the nose and narrow your eyes. Add a gray mustache and a long beard.
Step 7
Draw a magic wand in the magician's hand and direct its action to the side.
Step 8
Color the character's cloak in blue-violet colors; on it you can additionally draw conventional signs, stars and other elements. Make a hat in the same vein. Draw the rest of the clothing in gray and black. Give the magic wand a traditional bright yellow color, do not forget about the sparkling rays that are drawn as evidence of the fact of witchcraft.
