Winter is not the time to complain about the cold, because during this period you can find many exciting activities for both children and adults. For example, build shapes out of snow. And it doesn't have to be regular snowmen. You can use your imagination and sculpt extraordinary snow sculptures.

Instructions
Step 1
Think carefully about what kind of snow figure you want to build. Since this material is quite heavy, it easily changes shape due to temperature changes, then these features must be taken into account in the future sculpture.
Step 2
Make a sketch of your future creation on paper, and then act like a real sculptor - make a model of a figure from plasticine - both for clarity and in order to imagine how the finished sculpture will look.
Step 3
Stock up on everything you need to build a snow sculpture. For the frame, you will need sheets of plywood and boards, for the sculpting itself - saws, scrapers, spatulas, hacksaws and other tools, for example, a bucket and a small bowl for water. Also prepare food colors, a spray bottle, and paints to decorate your finished object. Do not forget about the right clothes - they should be warm, because you will have to spend a lot of time outside. At the same time, it should be made of lightweight material that does not hinder movement.
Step 4
From boards and plywood, put together a frame, following the outlined plan. When the base is ready, start sculpting.
Step 5
If the snow is too dry and crumbly, soak it briefly in water before sculpting to make it more wet. Then quickly apply it to the frame. At this stage, you can apply large volumes of snow, moisten each layer with water, this is necessary in order for it to take on well. After the main volume of the sculpture is created, let it freeze.
Step 6
Proceed to the most interesting and creative stage, start cutting out the conceived figure. To do this, use scrapers, files, spatulas of different sizes. Be careful not to cut off a lot of snow at once, it is better to grind your product gradually.
Step 7
When the figure is ready, make it brighter and more interesting using dyes - food or artificial, however, you can add dyes in advance to the snow from which you build your snow creation. To consolidate the result and strength, you can pour water on the sculpture.
