Tom is a funny cat and one of the main characters in the cartoon "Tom and Jerry". Draw it with your child, which will undoubtedly delight your child. Moreover, you can make a drawing with a pencil, and your child will color it.

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the materials you need for the job. Choose - you will draw a picture from memory or copy from an image. If you sketch, find a suitable image on the Internet. With a simple pencil, start sketching.
Step 2
Draw parts of the character's body. Draw a small circle at the top of the sheet - the head of the cat. Then sketch out the torso. In shape, it resembles an elongated pear - closer to the bottom, the body slightly expands. Arrange the limbs in the form of ovals, and the paws-arms will be twice as long as the paws-legs. On the limbs, mark the palms and feet with small circles. Draw a tail with a pointed end. It is about the same size as the hind leg. Start drawing.
Step 3
Draw triangles for the large ears on the head. Each ear is slightly smaller than the head itself. Sketch the cat's face. To do this, draw the middle vertical line, and then the horizontal lines of the nose, eyes and mouth. Draw a small, triangular nose. On the same line, from the nose, build oval cheeks. Then sketch out the eyes, which, as it were, "rest" on Tom's cheeks. After that, mark the open mouth with two arcs.
Step 4
Draw the cat's palms, on each of them place four fingers in the form of small ovals. Slightly lengthen the feet and place three fingers on each, which at first draw in the form of small circles. Mark the belly (white spot) on Tom's body. Start drawing it from below, following the outline of the body. Only under the head itself the contour changes its shape, it resembles the McDonald's badge.
Step 5
Draw a clarifying drawing. Draw the pupils of the character, raised surprised eyebrows, clarify the drawing of the ears and mouth (outline the tongue). Separate the tip of the tail with a torn line (the tip will be white). Draw the outline of the cat. On the elbows, knees, in places of color transition, give Tom a little shaggy, marking out the coat. Use the eraser to remove the construction lines.
Step 6
Any materials are suitable for working in color. Start painting from top to bottom. First paint over the body blue, leaving light palms, feet, tail tip, cheeks, area around the mouth. Cover the inside of the ears and tongue in pink. Then paint the eyes. The drawing will look brighter if you stroke with a thin black felt-tip pen.
