Instructions
Step 1
Making a pencil sketch on paper. It is necessary to outline several large branches and a general view of the bullfinches. We draw with thin lines so that they do not show through the paint and can be easily corrected. Small details, such as rowan berries, thin twigs, feathers, eyes and legs, are not shown.
The bullfinch consists of an oval body, a semicircular head, an oval wing, pointed on one side and an elongated oval tail.
Step 2
We mix blue and white gouache on the palette, paint over the background with light blue paint. You can add a little pink or lilac. We paint over everything except birds and large branches.
We paint over the branches with brown paint with the addition of ocher.
Step 3
For beauty and decorativeness, you can draw white frosty patterns along the edges of the sheet. Use the tip of the brush to draw curls with dots or strokes along the edges.
Step 4
We draw snow lying on the branches and depict falling snowflakes with dots. We finish with brown paint thin branches of rowan.
Step 5
On the branches we depict red rowan berries with black dots at the top. Berries can also be covered with white snow.
Step 6
Coloring the bullfinches. They have a red chest, black head and tail. The winglet is gray, turning to black at the end. We draw white feathers on the wing, and on the head we do not forget to draw eyes with white paint.
