Instructions
Step 1
Place a photo of the animal in front of you to achieve greater accuracy and coincidence with the real appearance of the animal. Start drawing the husky by highlighting the space that its shape will take on a piece of paper with a few strokes. With the help of these auxiliary lines, you need to determine the height, i.e. the extreme points of the bottom and top of the drawing, and the width that the dog will take. These limits will give an idea of the further construction of the drawing.
Step 2
Within the outlined contours, sketch out the location of the head, body, neck, paws and tail in accordance with the chosen pose of the animal. Start with large pieces and attach small pieces to them. Move the sketch further and look at it with a "fresh" look - are there any mistakes that need to be corrected. This mainly concerns the proportions of the dog's body and the correctness of the structure.
Step 3
On the husky's head, mark the nose, eyes, mouth and ears with strokes and lines. Do not sketch out the final versions of the small details yet. Start modeling the volume using chiaroscuro. The lightest protruding areas will be completely intact, and the dark ones will be filled with dense shading.
Step 4
Like all drawings, the image of the like must be built from the whole to the particular. Do not be distracted by small details that will ruin the image into a jumble of disparate elements.
Step 5
Continue to work on the shape as a whole with chiaroscuro: add tones and midtones, referring to a photo or other drawing. Don't forget about the shadow the dog casts. In all this, reflect the characteristics of the animal. The special structure of the husky, its become, expressive eyes, fluffy hair, a ball of tail - everything should appear in the picture.
Step 6
Now draw out the details, harmoniously combining them into a single image, because you have clarified and corrected all the proportions. It's hard to go wrong at this stage if you've done a good preliminary job. Erase excess lines carefully.
Step 7
If the dog has spots on the coat, select them in the picture.
